the out put shafts are on the other side. and the flanges are driifernt, mounting, ect, and a cummins engine has WAY too much power for a deuce case to handle.
:ditto: on the grounds. If you have a bad ground it will back feed. I had a headlight issue that was doing the same thing, even when the truck was off.
buhhhhh you are corect 73... you will need longer ones all around. The longer studds you can get at just about any truck place (have seen them on Eastern surplus also) and are only a couple bucks each. I would NOT use the thimles... Remember what happened to Gimp.... Snapo snapo
the rears you should be fine ,fronts there are longer ones you can install. I just got the correct factory combat rims for the 5 ton. Little extra money but will worth the safty point.
you know that the TM states a m1009 can only tow 1200 pounds and Pintal hook of 200 pounds? The problem is not the barkes so much as the bumper is NOT like the M1008 bumper. The suports on the 09 are not all that great. Go under there and take a look. If you want to do towing your much better...
even if you do that (12V only) its NOT going to jump that truck. The only thing it would be good for is if the van went dead and you used the cucv to jump it (if cucv slave was changed to 12V)
