no you are correct on the spinning spider gears. They are not made to be spinning at high speeds for long amount of time. There are no bearings in the spider gears, just a thin shim.
we have not got the order placed, we just rolled in the door from the OH show. We will have the proof tomorrow morning (we called the shop) and will post it. And for all who wont buy a rally shirt with out seeing it first.. well man its a rally shirt! you get them just to have them. Its not like...
I just have a couple thoughts. My Tractor (little diesel Japan thing) has a leaver to lock all the diff's. A M800 or even 900 will have open dif's, unless it is a Marine truck like mine. So unless you have lockers its going to be a one wheel wounder and your going to get stuck or not have enough...
please move this to the Member Ebay forum and not the Deuce page. You can do that by canning this post and making a new one in the correct place. Thank you
you dont have to change the yoke.. get a speedy sleave. Its a new seal and a thin steel bushing that repairs the groves. Go to Napa and they will fix you up.
use a rubber strap wrench. There about 10 bucks from Autozone or who ever... Its like a chain pipe wrench but it uses a rubber strap. We use them on things we dont want marks on like SS and Chrome parts.
just twist it.. if it brakes o well time to get a new one. There is no place that bends them back. It would have to be recored or replaced. But I have just bent them back in the bast.. some went bad.. some were fine.
Get the cheapest ones from Monroe. Trust me 15 years in the biz and thats the best shock for the 80's GM pick up/blazers. There around 15 each give or take.
Read up on the TM !!!! you might be able to adjust down the brake shoes to allow the truck to roll. Hard to tell whats really wrong with out looking at it. Could be stuck master, booster bad lines ect..
yes you can get a 53 foot trailer in there... the tractor trailers park on the upper lot.. nice and flat, hard pack dirt and wood chips. No problem!! And if id does rain.. I think if you get stuck there might be a truck or two to pull
not a ton more on power but ezer to drive. the auto trans is kinda nice. You can do super singles on a M800 ez enough. The cabs on the 900's are a little wider so there a little more room for junk. Other then the auto trans and CTIS (if the truck has it) there about the same.
top speed around 35 mph... well it would be like driving that deuae.. man who was that guy.. his deuce lost high range and he still drove it like 450 miles at 23 mph....
