    I was under the assumption that the th400 used the vacuum off of the vac. pump to tell it when to downshift, oh well. I'll be going to the parts store in the morning.

    I think that it was in the block style filter on both the civy trucks and ours, although I would doubt that a dealer would remember it unless you get the old timer at the parts desk.

    Positive wire from Alt to firewall of M1009

    yes the blue is a fusible link, you can replace with a blade sytle fuse holder with no issues. I believe that most of the fusible links on the truck are of the 20 or 30amp variety, you should be able to use a lower rated fuse though.

    RE: Re: white smoke and no power id would venture its got a clog somewhere, or the lift pump is dead again. I replaced mine around a year ago and then it died again around 4months ago. crossing fingers that this one lasts.

    HMMWV tires

    any local spring shop can make you up a set, for the stockers they may be able to re-arc your springs and add a leaf to fix the sag. As long as none of the leaves are messed up.
