Your winch should be ok. Usually when the winch breaks there is no question it is broke. Check to make sure you have the correct shear pin in the winch. I would have thought the shear pin would have broke.
This is not my first (more like 10 or more).
I just got off chat with GL. The last EUC item I bought was back in Nov. They are saying that since this is the first EUC of the year it's just like my first one. It used to be that if there was a year since you last filled one out it was like your...
They used to load you and help you out any way they can. I have been told that recently things have changed and they no longer load anything that isn't on a pallet. I haven't heard this from the GL site guys (Jay or Jason) so it could be wrong. I'd call them and see if they will load.
Anybody got their EUC back for sale 5068? This is far from my first EUC and for some reason this one is taking forever. It went to Battle Creek (according to GL) the day I submited it and has been stuck there ever since.
Ok, If they told you to show up Thurs you should be good. I just didn't want you to show up and they not let you in .
For some reason my EUC (sale 5068 ) is stuck a BC. This is far from my first one and the last few have took less than a week.
Love to see those trucks "earning their keep". :driver:
I had my deuce and M105 full of ear corn back in the fall but nothing like those kind of loads.
I like your brand of combine also ;). We run a R52.
Are you sure? Unless something has changed recently they only did loadouts Mon-Wed.
I wish I could pick my trailers up there but for some reason my EUC is taking forever. What sale was your's in?
My brother bought a M1008 two years ago. We got it home and he put a set of batteries and glow plugs in it and has been driving it ever since. It's his daily driver and he's a logger so it don't get "babied". He hasn't spent a dime on it other than routine maintenance so I guess there's good and...
What's a "search agent"? I've been on GL for a long time and I've never heard of it. Is it something where you will be notified if an item you're looking for comes up for sale?
When they are forced by the EPA and they come up with a replacement. All of the M35 trucks are considered obsolete by the military. It all started when the EPA said they could no longer use the multifuel engine. They tried a engine swap with the M35A3 but it never was really excepted well by the...
Why does your pto run all the time? There should be a way to disengage it when not in use. You say your winch is already set up with a hyd motor. Guess I'm having trouble trying to understand what you're trying to do. :?
Most air ride systems ues a height control valve. It is a valve with a lever on it. There is a rod that goes from the lever on the valve down to the axle. This valve is adjustable and after it's set it will maintain the same ride height regardless of load because when the axle moves in activates...
:ditto:
I met Ian right after the project started and saw the truck. I am excited about this project but I do disagree about the over complicated air ride. Nothing wrong with a little constructive criticism. He more than likely wouldn't agree with everything I've done to my truck.
I highly...
I think I remember him saying 8" travel when he was measuring for the shocks. Dosen't sound like alot of travel but I bet it still beats a set of deuce front springs.
:ditto:
The rockcrawlers and whatnot can get away with them because they're not stopping nearly as much weight and they go much slower.
