They say the "D" produces a little more boost but the power isn't noticable. Basicly it's just the sound thats the difference. Some people like the scream of the "C" and some don't. For me the type of turbo wouldn't make or break the sale. I've got a "C" on my truck but that's just because...
I'd say the compressor is working fine if you've got pressure in the tanks. This is very odd :???:. All of the air powered accessories pull right off the tanks. I'm going to say you have a plugged line somewhere. I'd start tracing the lines from the tanks and breaking them to see where the...
$4200 is not that far out of line if the truck is decent. I have seen good winch trucks in the $3500 range though. I think your thinking right to offer $3500 and go from there.
Some guys around here can't read very well so you have to post pics for them :-D.
Don't take it personal that people slam you around here about pics. It's fair to say that everybody one here has got the " nopics" every now and then .
I'd say 8 grand is a little steep for a tractor that's not in A1 shape.
I'm in the machinery moving business so know about moving all sorts of stuff. The best way to price it is to figure what you need per hour and roughly figure how long it will take. It's hard to figure something like this...
Welcome, I'm right down the road in Dickson. I could always use a spare set of hands . I'm in the middle of a winch rebuild right now. After that I've got to start on my dump conversion. I'm kind of like them truck shows on TV, I've got about 10 projects on my deuce started but haven't...
Learned something new. I had no idea. I would say if you go to weld while the cleaner is still liquid on the metal you're going to end up with a fireball also :-D.
I'm pretty sure it's pipe thread but am not 100% on the size. A standard pipe plug should work . You shouldn't need any gasket but you can put some teflon tape or pipe dope on the threads to make sure it don't leak.
I don't think the truck had run in a long time. The diesel in the tank smelled about 10 years old. Somebody had been messing with the wiring and had it all screwed up. Pass side fender had some rust in it and the wrong winch cable was installed.Brake pedal went to the floor. Looks like it may be...
Did anybody around here win the M35A2 W/W in Burns,TN? The truck is literally 2 miles from my place. I really wanted it but it was too rich for my blood . Anyway, I looked the truck over really good so if anybody needs info or help on recovery I can help out .
Before the bottom fell out I was getting $350 a ton for a while.
The scrap yards sell the stuff to the mills or overseas you bring to them for almost double what they give you also. So if this guy is a scrap dealer that sells directly to the mills or overseas markets at one time a deuce was...
You could have people submit for the award well in advance of the show and have the voting go untill shortly before the presentation. Have a rule that if you submit a vehicle for the award you have to be at the convention to win. That way you'll have somebody to submit the award to and the...
Well since nobody has spoken up calling dibs on the bed I sent Ian a PM saying I would pick it up tomorrow if need be. I only live about 40 miles away.
Jasonjc, If I happen to get it we may can work something out on some of the stuff you need if you can't swing the whole bed.
