That was the problem they were trying to fix. I would think that the TD block would take more psi but even the N/A motors have headgasket problems. man if your looking for more power change out the motor. I just got ahold of a 7.9 turbo out of a school bus and the overdrive trany. Dont push a...
TD does not mean turbo block. I have seen first hand many N/A multi fuels with the TD. All I can find is that the TD block head bots go to 130 foot pounds and the non TD blocks only are 100 foot pounds. I'm 99% sure it was a internal casting change and thats how they were marked.
I found a bag of pot and a .38 under a seat once. after i was dont working on it i took all the bullets out so he could not shoot me when i gave him the bill.
hmm... I do alot of work on high psi fuel injected trucks and cars and if the psi drops more then 2-4psi most injectors will not fire. now you can and i have seen many cars come in to my shop out of gas. if it were to some how lower the psi when the tank got low it would shut it down with gas...
hmm that sounds not right. my turn signal switch is off and my brake lights still work. looking at the wiring harnes its power in to the brake light switch and right to the bulbs out of the switch. think it may have been a fluke.
Im working on installing spin on filters on my fuel lines also. I like to run lots of dirty FREE fuel. Just make sure you have them out of the way and not rubbing on anything. BJ is right there is a ton of fuel flowing in the lines. Last yeay at Haspin Strech rubbed a fuel line and it was...
Hey BJ, when I turned up my pump just a little I have to watch that pyro alot! if I give her it will shoot right to 1000* and thats after turbo. Would reseting the timing to 20* help with the exhaust temps? or make it worse?
you know GM has used a brake light switch like the one on the deuce for about 40 years. there not bad, just when things get old they brake. if you have not changed yours in 5 years or do not know at all , please change it. its like 5 bucks. any 2 prong 1/8 NTP switch will work.
hmm i never had a problem adjusting that, and i rebuilt mine. like they said use a stubby wrench and dont forget to hold the base of the cable from spining.
