I drove my deuce over 700 miles home in the rain at night!! and just the other day (e22 can tell ya) I drove over 2100 miles to aberdeen and back. NOW WHO IS NUTS??
propane does nothing for a gas motor. dont wast your time with that. my friend has a m54 and were redoing the points, coil, wires and plugs. we sent the carb out to be cleaned and rebulit but because of the huge CID and very low compression there is not going to be anything you can do to make...
well dude, 15k is about it for a Deuce clutch. the way to check is the free play in the peddel. should be 3/4 of a inch, or you can take the little plate off the bottom of the bell housing ond look up to check things out also. (you guys with tons of high way miles can get 20-25k but much more...
same kind of thing with me. When im running down the road at 2600 rpm and 56 mph my buddy can come right up next to me and he says im doing close to 60. i dont get it i can keep right up hwy trafic. but on the hills..... the big one kill me right to 35 mph
ouch man, the multi should run around atleast 20 psi at idle. First off the N/A motors smoke like a, well you know. second, get your self a new sending unit or check the oil psi with a mechanical gauge. thats the first step in checking if you have a proble. Now to cut the smoke a bit I run gas...
that is a very good point, I would think there is a TM about how to enter water. (like idle to cool down first) Bj would be the guy to talk to about that. im sure he will put in his 2 cents here.
I have no idea it was at this truck stop in Iowa. (hint Iowa looks all the same!) it said summer blend 50. So im guessing its 50%) I could be wrong Ive never seen bio blend befor. there is a place by me that sells 100% bio in the summer months really cheap (farmers i think)
I dont know I would have to go back to the store to look, but its just some cama paint. nothing to grate about it but it seams to hold up really really well.
i tell you what, when I picked up the tires in NE i filled up on bio diesel. well it was a 50% blend and the truck ran just fine no problems. I think it could really work out just fine for a replacment or 50% blend for diesel.
