Be sure you know how it is wired.
If it's like mine(newer one) it can be wired for different voltages(internally).
I would just confirm how it is set up.
Never seen that.
Did you buy it from an individual or the Gov?
Government vehicle all use dot 5.
If I were you, I would open a bleeder at a wheel cylinder and get a small sample of fluid. Then determine which fluid was in the system. Easy to do with a few drops of water.
Dot 5, it will...
OK, so if your wired up with only a manual pushbutton for your GPs, then you'll be ok.
Just know that if you ever want to use the GP controller card, that relay will be incompatible.
FORD solenoid?
You better explain. The relay commonly used in a Ford is NOT correct for a cucv gp system and will NOT work properly and will RUIN your GPs.
What part number did you buy and use?
fwiw, common parts are listed in the cucv wiki, which is easily used with a computer.
Nope, it's fine in this thread.
My comment was in reference to another post/thread, that has now been merged into this thread.
All good now.
Thanks for asking.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade
I suggest you gather up the towns women and hold a mud wrestling competition annually to remember this travesty!
You will still need to replace half the hoses.
For the cost of 4 extra feet of hose and 2 orings, I would fix it to original.
Just my thoughts.
Some have eliminated the valve, and that should work too.(if it and the hoses are your issue.
Remember, the primer lines can also be your issue...
