I know I have seen the answer to your latest question in the TMs, in the -20 or -24(whichever applies to your truck series) troubleshooting section.
Asking this on a forum is bound to get varied answers, so at best you have a 50/50 shot at getting the correct info.
If you know what adjustment...
The noise suppressor on the fuel pump wire is known to short out, and cause the dc breaker to kick out.
Unbolt it from the frame, and see it that solves your issue. If it does, simply remove it(butt splice the wire back together).
We do not need the suppressor.
I'd just use the part number listed in the parts TM.
