Why would you ask for help selling but not ask for help getting logged on? There is a "contact us" link at the bottom of every page of SS. Admin needs to fix this or you'll automatically be blocked(eventually) or banned.

Here is a picture of the shutoff solenoid.
Notice the TM # and the page number.
That is the TM that explains replacement.
There should be 24 volts on that solenoid whenever the ignition switch is on.
Try unscrewing the knurled knob(CC) and see...

When he has his hand on the lever that he has been resetting, the override knurled knob is just forward and below that lever(on the shutoff valve).
He needs to unscrew that knurled knob. (screwed in, overrides, screwed out, is normal operation)
Have you ever shut your truck off before?
If it's new to you and the switches wont shut it off, pull the emergency shutoff cable(T handle).
You'll need to open the hood and reset it afterward (to re-start it).
There is a knurled knob on the IP shut off valve, it is used to manually override...
