    Why not just reuse the magnetic drain plug thats already in it? Remember, the -20P and -34P TMs have all the GM part numbers. Makes it a breeze to google part numbers and confirn simple questions. 337185 PLUG Torque, should be listed in the -20 TM.

    You do not shim one side or the other, they simply drop the starter(both sides). Shimming is explained in the -20TM. I'll look for it and post it in a bit. edit, here's the page. right click and select "open in new window" and it's almost big enough to read!

    Clinto had the same issue(low voltage to the relay start wire). It was a bad ignition switch. I would replace it.

    You may want to read the TM(-20) as well. By now, you do have them downloaded to your laptop or your mobile devices, right? It tells you how to change a tire. (don't assume you know everything you need to know)

    I definitely agree that tires need to be replaced based on age, as well as tread wear. There is nothing like the confidence of a new set of tires on your rig.
