    has anybody had any experience with liquid electrical tape? looks cool to use. any problems or other. to Warthog, I checked the TMs a couple of times and there was nothing in there about tape

    batterys

    I bought a 750 cca battery at a salvage yard - thought I would have a spare available - in the wiki it says to use 800CCA batterys. - so will this be useless in a CUCV?

    starting problems

    can autozone test a 24 volt starter? would the alternator have anything to do with starting? how do you use a voltmeter to test if the starter is getting power from the batterys. limited experience - thanks in advance

    Still unable to start

    alternator help

    84 M1009 - My generator 2 light has not come on in a while - when I was on the expressway goming home from work the generator 1 light came on and the headlights went out and windshield wipers quite working. I am thinking Both alternators are out. If so what alternators to use as replacements? thanks

    rear drive shaft

    84 CUCV - my rear drive shaft has lost some metal right by the u joint. how bad does that have to be to mess it up. and if it is destroyed can I use a 92 Surburbans drive shaft thanks

    stupid question

    im sorry for the stupid question, but on CUCV - is the starter underneath and to the right side of the truck. truck wont start, no clicking, so I got underneath and started to hit what I thought was the starter with no luck.

    wont start

    drove my 84 CUCV all day, went to drive it tonight and it wont even turn over. tried to jump start it with negative results. I am thinking it is the starter. any other thoughts or ideas? and any issues with replacing the starter. thanks

    speedometer problems

    I am a first time CUCV owner - 1984 - I took apart the dashboard to clean all the grime and dust out, after I put it back together I noticed the speedometer bouncing all over the place, and Ideas on what problem could be thanks.
