Green Iron at the Track (M818 drag racing)

Took the truck for a spin at the local track yesterday. Best time was a 30.2 @ 44mph. I really wanted to break into the 20s. Should have video on Youtube within a few days.

    m54 series ignition coil source?

Looking for an ignition coil that fits a 602 cont. motor. I searched on my phone but nothing came up. Boyce shows one but the one in the picture doesn't match what's on the truck or the pic in the TM. The one in the truck now is junk and has been modified to make it work. Thanks for the help!

    No High Range?

Just discovered the old man's M51 has no high range. We pulled the inspection cover on the top pass side of the case, shift fork is moving with the rod and it appears to have the proper amount of stroke (compared it to my M818 ). When I searched, the only thread I found, the guy just replaced...

    M51 Recovery

I helped my old man drag his new (to him) M51 home last weekend. It's a 1960 with a 1967 rebuild tag. Gas motor ran pretty good considering the gas smelled like paint thinner. He plans on restoring it back to original. It needs a master cylinder and allot of body work. The township removed all...

    Got My M818 Home

Picked this up in eastern WV Saturday. Did Ok crossing the Appalachians but it's definitely getting a turbo soon. The only thing I didn't like was the big jump from 3rd to 4th gear. Not a great setup for the hills around here. Took it to a car show that benefited wounded warriors that Sunday...

    16.00s On Stock Deuce Wheels

My first thread, be gentile..... Why do I see on here every once in a while "you can't fit 16.00s on a stock duece wheel"? I have 4 in my garage that I mounted up (can email pic if you don't believe me). Do "they" mean you shouldn't mount them on a stock wheel because of the narrow rim...
