Would someone share with me what causes the idle on a cold startup to slowly increase to very high revs? If i shut it down and restart, it will idle normally. I would appreciate any help. Kingsley

Guys, While adjusting the shifting points on my trans, I noticed some fairly heavy carbon buildup inside the air intake body. 1- Should I take it off and clean it out from time to time? 2- Is it something I should be concerned about? thanks for your thoughts. Kingsley

Thought it might be good to post the details on my pickup from Ab, Maryland. The pickup went really well. The Gov. Liquiation guy was a real pain in the rear to make contact with and he never returns phone calls/almost never answers his cell. The site has allot of pickups and blazers ready...
