I hope to buy and restore it. But I also heard today that the man is a collector of MV's. May not be forsale But it is a straight truck. I never thought it was tied to a collector . I just hope its safe from a scrappers torch. Tomorrow I ll take a few more pics of it.
My neighbors son sold one like it but an auger bed that was supper slick for scrap. Im trying to get in contact with the owner theres another truck behind it. I dont want to trespass on this lot but a frien owns a road around it I can get a few better pics.

I think a Deuce would be able to run a hook lift, THe make them down to Chevy/Isuzu npr 1.5 ton trucks and I have run a few on several other 2 ton single axle trucks.
One question that is are you going to use it as a dumper to. What I ran into in the roll off and hooklift business is that you...

I cant stand that guy, The town is supposed to auction stuff like meters and scraps. He gets it no contest. He got and cut up a nice Ditch Witch That was supposed to go to sale or another district. I talked to My district supervisor a few times, We are a small enough county we can...
We have a meter reader from the city that reads county meters. Hes also a scrapper and is trying to get it coded in here about unregistered vehiles and implements, Kinda the reason why I left a snake in the meter box on meter day lol.
Im not worried about the lawn ornament part, I bu and trade and sell trucks of all sorts. If I get it for the price Im looking at it could be parted out for profit.
The truck was tagged and titled. Ill have to put an add in te paper for 90 days for the original owner to call for it. THe...
I found an old deuce in the woods the other day and talked to the land owner. He said a logger left it there 5 years ago and he was wanting it off his place. The logger went out of business and couldnt be reached.
I did notice that there was a tank on top of the cab about a 20 gallon...
Thanks for the link, I found a little online and talked to a trucker friend of mine that knows where a farm is down there that has 3 of them for LGP spray rigs. He said they may be up for sale soon. Every time I was down that way we never could get anyone to talk about them.
I got a small manual AutoCrane boom on my old service truck. It is manual extend and swing with an electric winch. Its what the rail road used in the back of the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. Its got a meaty square tube stand and will stow the jib beside the stand. Ill get some...

Thanks for the information on the trucks, I really miss seeing them. My neighbor was just starting to sell a few things when he passed away. His son wouldnt sell to the public instead scrapped them. It was sad to see such straight trucks go that way.
The ones I found probably wont be for sale...
