One other thing.If regular transmission wont work would a Muncie 4 speed two wheel drive with granny low be my best bet?

The old 230 needs rebuilt.Got a 250 chevy straight six really cheap.I was wondering if there is an adapter plate to use the origanal transmission with this motor and what would be the best raidiator to use and the best way to do motor mounts?

I will be doing a lot more with mine this year.Last weekend playing on the rocks,the only thing I noticed was ya got to watch youre steps and fuel tank.Im running the bigger tires and no power steering at this time LOL.If ya like a good work out on youre upper body strength its all good :-)

For me im using what ever I have on hand or can scounge up.I was going to sell the motor home but got looking at how rotten the wood was getting and started adding stuff up and would have spent more money buying the luxurys for the camper build then what I could have sold the motorhome for.

Heres my ideal. Got my dream tuck M35A2 bobber and then found an M35A2 cut down in to a trailer.Last summer striped down our 87 Coachman and takeing all the luxurys of the motorhome and going to make a camper out of the trailer.

If a few folks from the Salt Lake City area would be interested?I think a convoy to Moab would be fun.
