I shipped my m1008 from florida to maine in June and had no problem starting the truck in maine until 3 days ago. I left the truck outside and tried to start it in the morning with the outside temp about 35 degrees. The truck started fine and ran for a few minutes but when i started down the...

The stock steering wheel just did not do anything for me so I added a Grant I got off ebay for like $20. I like it as it is a lot beefer than the stock one. I guess it comes down to preference. I have the troop seats I just took them out as I am replacing the wood. I hope to do a 4-6 inch...

    New pictures

Thanks for the compliments. The truck is an A1 model out of Fort Gordan Ga. It did not come with a tailgate so I added one. Not really paying attention until after I painted it - it was for a GMC (d'oh). CUCVs were built at the same place the GMCs were made so it is not that big of deal to...

    16.5 9.75 steel wheels

I recently acquired some like new 16.5 X 9.75 offroad steel wheels for a great price. They were mounted to 33 inch tires (x12.5). I have a set of new military OZ 36 inch tires I am going to mount to them. When I was taking the 33's off the rim I was amazed and I mean amazed at how easy they...
