That would make sense, thanks! Some of the nearby PS pump nuts and bolts had to be tightened up recently, I guess it could make sense that the stud there could come loose too. I'll take a look at it in the next few days, but is there a certain type of sealant that should be used?

Hey all, I've got a CUCV that's leaking quite a bit (not gushing, but not real slow either) of coolant near the water pump. It leaks whether the truck is running or not, but it leaks a lot more when it's warm. The weep hole (I assume that's the hole on the bottom of the water pump, see pic) is...

I made this last night. I used a 12"x18" piece of 22ga sheet metal (~$7), a J-hook ($1) and a light from Autozone (~$2-3). It's uglier than I expected, but it's legal and no-drill.

I checked the voltage at the big red terminal, 25 volts with no crank, ~23 with switch held. The little terminal (white wire) reads 19 volts, [EDIT] 25 when switch held. Also, I took off the starter to triple-check my connections and got it bench tested again to make sure I didn't mess anything...

Local junkyard maybe? I managed to find one with a decent tire on it still for $40. Be sure to check the bolt pattern before you buy.

Right now, I'm using blasting wire wrapped around the bumper, no light...Ugly, steal-able and not really legal. Here's my idea for a bracket when I get a little bit of time. EDIT: J-bolts might work just as well or better on the bottom of the bumper to hold the bracket tight.
