My 5 Ton already earning its keep!!

RE: Re: tractors ........ Everything but the 6000 series are built in the US, they are built in the Werke Mannhiem, Germany. The 6000 series is shipped to NA and 5000, 7000, and 8000 series tractors are shipped back. One curiosity about this is, in Europe, the small frame 7000s are the...

    View on this, ITS DONE!!

Is airlinner setup like a Neway suspension? http://www.thehollandgroupinc.com/Portal/Products/Suspensions/HeavyDutyTruckTractor/ADSeries2/ One of my buddies drives a T800 with 46k Neway and an airlift axle and it does the best of any air ride I have seen in the dirt.

How to make a M911 do highway speeds?

I know of several lowboy truck running two speed 52,000 lb rears. I have even seen on that had oil coolers on both axles! Shifting the rear axles is done by air solenoids. To shift the axle you push in the clutch and activate the solenoids, by the time the transmission gears have been changed to...

    Kenworth 8x8 XM1074 PLS

RE: Re: RE: Kenworth 8x8 XM1074 PLS Are the flat racks for the oshkosh and KW the same length? It's funny that the T800 would have roll over problems when the oshkosh has a much heavier cab and its engine way up in the air.

    Beginning with motorvation

spicer, you got a thing for v8 diesels. Best thing about Detroit's is the scream, since 2 stroke makes 2000 rpm sound like 4000. Considering one of the Detroit's nicknames was road oiler, you might wind up paving a few roads in your woods. Can't wait for the rest of the truck, spicergump style.

    Workin' the Five

I really like the five ton and the 963. I've drove a 953D for a few minutes over the summer, had a lot of cool features with the electrohydraulic controls,. I'll have to settle for a JD 450C for now. I'm surprised to see a track loader in VA, they aren't used much outside the midwest.

    Big Dumb Trailer ...more pics

Well since Spicer is back on the board I've had a couple of ideas. Wouldn't a lockable power-divider work between the third axle and the trailer to keep the trailer from pushing the truck? That coupled with a driveshaft disconnect would give three drive options, freewheel, unlocked and locked...

    M35 and bale bed

Cannonball is a manufacture of hydraulic bale beds. Bale beds use arms to lift bales onto the bed for transport to feed areas. Then the bales can be unrolled or loaded into feed bunks

    M35 and bale bed

It may have been a 5ton it was a couple of months ago, so i don't remember. I have been considering a hydra bed with a hyd feeder for a 5 ton. I will probably play with the five ton some. More gears and big meats would be the first on the list then maybe a 9L-12L with a Jake. I just wanted to...

    M35 and bale bed

I saw a picture of a deuce with a cannonball bale bed a while back. I have been consider something similar. I was hoping to find whoever owned it to get they're opinion of the setup. I know it wasn't on here or the cannonball site, but i was wondering if anyone on here owned it.

    Construction Equipment

That looks like a push dozer. Name is kinda selfexplanitory, they are used to push scrapers through the cut. Some of the push dozers ive seen are bigger than the scrapers.

    427 TD

My J20's 401 has been running good since June, but all of sudden it has several problems, the valve covers are slobbering, there is a hint of blue smoke on start up, and every once in while it die while accelerating. The J20 needs some rust removal anyway so it wouldn't be to much more to get a...

    Kenworth 8X8

Man i love K100's! That is just about the meanest looking K100 I've ever seen. Most of the K100's you see any more are only 4x2 hot-shot/b-train tractors!!

    Big Dumb Trailer ...more pics

The easy way to do this would be to do as Mangus said; run a tractor PTO connection. If you just disconnected the PTO shaft from the truck the PTO shaft would still be turning along with the rest of the trailer drivetrain. If you cared your could take care of that problem with 4 lock-outs; in...
