Did you inspect the splinig on your axle shaft and hub housing? Often dirt/rust sits in there and prevent new parts from sliding in easily.

Afaik the problems with the fuel filter base don't occur that sudden when the filter system was left untouched for quite a time (e.g. no filter change lately). Check the fuel lines and clamps from filter to injection pump. Look into the valley between the cylinders for wetness.

I had the exact same problem for years and never found out what caused the problem.
In the beginning all worked like it should but after a filter change long time ago the lid didn't close completely. Buying another original Delco fiter didn't help. So i ended up turning the wing nuts down to...
Do the wipers stop but not return to park position when switched off, or don't they stop at all.

- Frame reinforcement (at least on the right frame near the exhaust manifold)

In opposite to lights, wipers etc. the horn is switched with the negative side. When pressing the horn button the circuit is grounded.
I assume the diode is to not cause trouble with military parts like communication or radio equipment. Like the ones at the wiper motor or on the back of Gen 2...
The kit says Delco 37MT starter. Aren't our original starters the 27MT type?
AFAIK:
27MT = direct drive
28MT = gear reduction
Both available in 12 and 24v version.
37MT from the link is the direct drive, at least this is what the description says. :D

If you are still using the automatic glow system, keep in mind that it was designed for "fast" glow plugs like the Wellman G70 or the Delco 13G. The AC 60G are "slow" self regulating glow plugs. If the truck won't start easy when cold, repeat glowing or, if not satisfied, change glow behaviour...
