    When you have the rear end singled out and you wrap the tracks just around the rear tires, like a skid-steer... wouldn't you need a third bogie wheel to take up the slack when the rear tires are flexing over obstacles? how would the track flex when the tires articulate? I think tracks over...

    Anyone ever try tractor tires on a deuce?

    I have thought about that too. For a deuce you're only going to use off-road (less that 5% pavement) it would be perfect. You would have to find some 9R20 or 10R20 AG (agriculture) tires and put them on. Add 3 Detroit lockers and you would have a lot of capability. Try out this website...

    CUCV M1028 Compatability with civian Blazer? (14 bolt front and rear, front bumper.)

    m1028s don't have 14 bolts front and rear. they have a dana 60 front with a limited slip and a 14 bolt full floater rear with a Detroit Locker, and both axles have 4.56 gears. good call taking a girl mudding, dinner is the back is cute too. well played :) bad call: you went wheeling unprepared...

    comparison m1008 to m1009

    the M1009 comes in the SUV version your seen, the Chevy Blazer. The pickup version is the M1008. the 09 is a 1/2 ton SUV. it's rated at 3/4 ton by the military but it has 1/2 ton axles. the 08 is a 1 ton pickup. it has different axles. it's rated at 5/4 ton (1 and a quarter) by the army...
