sand isn't too bad. i take my trucks out on the beach all the time. it's mud that scares me. You don't just keep sinking in sand if you're not moving, and it also doesn't create a suction on the truck either. If you start spinning tires too much just stop and let more air out of the tires.

well since this thread is still active, I should share that I've figured it out. A cdl is only required for COMMERCIAL driving. if it's personal use you don't need it. In this state, because of the weight I need a class b standard license, NON CDL

crap you are right it is tubeless. Is there any way I can put a tube in it to salvage it? where can I find info on changing it myself, or will I have to take it somewhere. It's 150 miles from home, so if the spare happens to blow too, I guess I could always chain up that side of the axle

so after research and seeing the replies here, I will need a class A regular license because the main reason for me getting the 5ton is to bob it and then use it to tow my boat. If I didn't have to tow my boat (10,500lbs on trailer without fuel) then i would just be getting a class B.
