sorry to bring up an old post, but i never heard back from "3dubs" on how much of an improvement the 6.5 marine injectors made for his 6.2.

I've got a leak at #4 injector. The return line is fine. It is coming out from the injector it's self. Can that be tightened ? or maybe a new washer if there is one ?

This is a rarity, but not impossible Also if the thermostat is stuck open and the truck doesnt reach full operating temp white smoke can occur.
This happened to me, my thermostat was stuck open and the engine would never get above about 140 at best. At wot i'd get white smoke.
I get the rolling eyes thing too. The latest time she caught me dragging home a 1008 her eyes rolled so far they actually came up from the bottom.:roll:
I just got done putting new glow plugs in one of my 1008's and of course the one hardest to get to was swelled up like a mushroom. I used the visegrips and after bout 30 minutes it came out. Did not break off !! It was the Wellman brand. Are they known for swelling ?
2cents Stupid muffler shop. It always chaps my ass too when some cracker head mechanic wantabee can't follow instructions past his smoke break. Some people just don't give a dam.
