Update: Good news, gents. I had it diagnosed by a transmission shop and it only required a new vacuum pump regulator (and lines, which were dry rotted).
I'm looking at new tires for my M1009 and want something that looks aggressive (size 33/12.5/15). I'm considering the following:
BFG Mud Terrain T/A KM2
Nitto Trail Grappler M/T
Cordovan Mud Claw M/T
Any experience or opinions would be appreciated.
I've read conflicting information on if it's possible to pull an M1009A2 (3/4 ton) trailer with an M1009 CUCV. I own both and was hoping to use them together.

My transmission is sticking between 1st and 2nd gear but does shift after increasing RPMs with a hard shift. I replaced the vacuum pump thinking that was the culprit but I was wrong. I suspect this may be a death sentence for the truck but I'm wondering if there is a cheaper alternative to...
Thanks guy, you're great! I'm looking to fill the cracks in the rear cap shell, not seal it to the truck. In this case, perhaps Loctite. PL S30 would work?
Forgive my ignorance but I can't find a source for rear cap quarter windows for my 1986 M1009. I read in other threads that sliding windows are preferred and that factory tint is an option.
Any ideas on who to contact would be appreciated.
