does 1K of weight seem right? too much? too little?

I believe so, that was my arguement too. More drive axles and surface area to the ground. Would adding some weight in the bed help any?

Finally got the rifle mounts installed last night. work great. When you have both rifles in it makes it a little cramped. but you can get by. good investment in my view :wink:

Id just learn to drive knowing i need plenty of stopping room. cheaper and less work.

Notice the rust spots on it? those are bare metal. On the way home from Delaware one day, we hit a bump and the hook flew off and we drug the chain the 4-5 miles home.. didnt even notice until 45 minutes after we were home.. oops :o

I do know that GE makes lights for it too. My truck has one of each..

your #1 tap is wrong. if you leave it there. theres no flow when the thermostat is closed. it should go in #2 and 4 as per pics of my setup above...

TTT My wipers are trash. the blades are separating from the wiper.. and just wondering.. what part of the wiper blade do you snap off and do you have any pics of the install?

Alright i made it into a sticky [^] If i had known that it would turn out like this i would have taken a set of more detailed pictures and wrote up a set of step by step directions for everyone... i guess there's always NEXT time :rolleyes:

I really like those door locks. they are actually engine hatch brackets for High performance boats. they are billet aluminum and sell them in long reach and short reach. he has the short reach.. here’s a link to Eddie marine- a high performance boat accessory shop...

nope.. came off fine with a 2 ton come-along.. it is a little lop sided due to more weight on one side. but if you have someone hold the turbo and guide the heads down while person #2 lowers the heads back onto the block. ours went on fine with me guiding the heads onto the studs and bomar...
