    A little fun today

    This time i didn’t mess with the tires. so i was running around 53 PSI only had maybe 300 pounds in the back of random things ranging from some extra diesel to 6x6 blocks and a 5th wheel hitch ( still in the box). I plan on loading the snow from the driveway into the back if I need more weight.

    :) well we can confirm that the air shift does work.. you can hear it clunk in and feel the pull from the fronts.. Also pulled a 4x4 jeep out of a ditch on a county road.. he had a tow strap. front engaged, 2nd gear, Low range.. couldn’t even tell it was back there.

    Automatic tire chains

    For those of us who use our trucks on AND off road, could be useful instead of fidgiting with normal chains when we need traction, and taking them off for highway use. anyone up for it? :o

    Thanks for the praise guys. It was a Christmas parade for the town. I didnt even know they had prizes or i would have dressed it up and blacked the tires! Yes thats my truck and I still go to NU ( North Union).

    anyone ever ran their Deuce in a parade and won a class or a prize? We ran in a parade last Saturday and unknown to me, we won " best open entry" So i guess we beat out the VFW and all the church floats...

    I snapped one of the rear ones ( which are smaller in length) and i replaced it with a piece of oak. seems to hold up great. almost stronger then the fiberglass GI issue ones.

    i believe they are. your truck just doesn't have it. i recall someone who did hook them to a common line and vented then up above the waterline

    aua why is it that once you try to put a plan into motion and actually do it, all of a sudden his truck is busy hauling grain and wont be able to do it for along time.. but yesterday he wanted to do it Friday.. for some reason there was a sudden grain rush and he wont do it now :roll:

    Forgot about airing tires down, makes sense.. I like that Haven’t put thought into where. I had planned in the parking lot. You think dirt/mud would be giving me an advantage?
