    m35a2 bad rear wheel seal

Ok, So not a bad job at all. I used a grease board(used dish soap) and slid the whole assembly off as one. Basically there was nothing wrong with my seals. The cork in the keyway had failed. Good thing I didn't drive it anymore because as you can see the grease was gone, washed out by the oil...

    m35a2 bad rear wheel seal

I'm knee deep in this. Not a bad job at all but how much grease ? Should I just pack the bearings or fill the whole hub with grease as well ?

    M923 vs M813

Rather than start my own, I'm gonna bump this. I am facing the same dilemma right now and every point made here is valid. Really I LOVE the look of the 813 with Super singles. It is the baddest azz looking truck IMHO. I am just not in love with the Sprague TC. I did a boat load of reading here...

Govplanet tutorial from fellow members ?

I jumped in feet first and placed a bid. I got outbid but I can explain this a little better now than the tutorial they give. Ok, So you can basically bid whatever you want before the auction opens at 100 increments only over whatever the starting bid is. It won't show up on the auction yet but...

Govplanet tutorial from fellow members ?

I honestly am a little confused about how to bid with them. I am looking at a few trucks. I thought there would be a sticky maybe by now but could not find much at all. Can anyone go through the basics of bidding/buying from GP ? I have successfully established an account to bid. Any tricks or...

    Bb's in tires?

BB's ? Like BB gun BB's ? I could see them beating the crap out of your rims. Put equal in the tires. That is what I did. Death Wobble is 85% of the time bad springs on the upper king pin. Hopefully this is not in conflict with any vendors. http://www.imiproducts.com/products/equal/

Thanks, That summed it up. Didn't see that one in the google search and the site search never seems to work for me. I was gonna send Doghead the job posting at my work for "Customer Service Associate"...lol

Question about HMMWV paperwork and what it really means ?

I never drove one , so basically they are like driving a piece of heavy equipment ? Never really knew the differences between them and their civilian counterpart.

Question about HMMWV paperwork and what it really means ?

Before the mods jump on me, I am not looking for a loophole or looking to do anything illegal. I am hoping we can have a discussion on this in a civilized matter. I see no "contract" that says it "cannot" be registered. What I see is a "Hold Harmless" agreement that does not seem to state legal...

What all do I need to install a cruise control kit on a CUCV?

Here is a setup I pulled from an 83. As you can see the harness is separate.

What all do I need to install a cruise control kit on a CUCV?

The civvy Blazer uses a Vacuum controller.Works off the Vac pump system. . The cruise wiring harness is separate as a factory add on so if you are lucky enough to find a diesel Sub/blazer of the same era you can take what you need to do it although I suspect the issue will arise with the...

Water can do that. That is how I fried mine. Thing literally belched enough smoke to make me think it was on fire.

    Tank style block heater ?

The temro(aka zerostart) is all you should need unless you live in Antarctica. I have the 600w Temro and my truck has had no issue starting in -15f actual temp(not wind chill).
