Mine looked like it had Rectorseal #5. yellow and hard. It was actually a recommended sealant decades ago for gas, oil, water, diesel, hydraulic fluid, natural gas, etc.
Sorry to see/hear the bad news. I bet you can find one in your area at a good price. I think they are actually cheaper for a rebuilt one, than the one in my F350 truck.
I seen that when I was looking for a EGT gauge. No price usually means they are not competitive, so I bought mine from the Sensor Connection, mainly because of the fact it is made in the USA, and they didn't hide their price and shipping cost.
last one........we can ignore mis fueling for the multifuel, but some injector cleaners may not provide lubrication. https://blog.motoringassist.com/car-maintenance/prolonging-diesel-injection-pump-life/
You must be careful who you deal with. I try to check on negative feedback and recently I was ordering 4 rubber brake line hoses with a total weight of probably 5lbs, when I got to the shipping estimate for economy shipping, it was 61$. So i cancelled the order. One the other hand, a reputable...
Id guess the snap ring on the other end (input shaft) might have broke first, allowing everything to shift back. you have to pull the transmission to fix that. If the output shaft bearing gave up, you still have to pull the transmission to replace it. I would be wary of just replacing the...
Correct...I had to license mine for under 16000lbs in order to avoid a commercial plate. This means that I can only carry 2500lbs on the highway, but it also makes liability insurance cheaper and easier to obtain. For me, that was the best route as I will use the deuce to firewood off...
here is a pic of 14.5 wide A3 tires/wheels up front and 11/20 tires in the rear on A2 stock rims. Handles pretty good in the snow. Ice would probably be a different story.
I just put A3 rims with 14.5 michelins on the front to line up the tires better for mud and snow. I drove them for about 50 miles on paved roads and mud roads. I like them.
The turning radius is pretty big. Up here I have to back up for almost half my turns. Good mirrors are a must, but since Im remote, the only thing I can back into/over is deer elk and firewood/trees, so Im good. I may buy another one to "bob" next year for slinking around in the woods(play)...
I got 11.20's Michelin xl. they seemed to work well in the snow here. good luck on a two hour commute as you'll need headphones or ear plugs. Also I get approx 6mpg, but Im pretty remote.
