That AD-9 is a little larger (a lot) than I thought. I'll have to make some brackets and mount it above the spare tire. anywhere else, and it would get buried in snow/slush....

I got a extra set of welding cable laying around for my sa200. as soon as I cut them, I'll drop a huge beam on the ones im using and need them. So I can just buy new cables and I got spare 3/8 inch eyes around here somewhere to crimp on.
ordered a Sherpa winch yesterday. I'll post pics when it arrives and I install it. Im not going to do the bumper extension. I will install it under the bumper which suits my use better, as there will be a snow plow up front that is tall, 8 1/2 foot wide path, fixed V blade. BTW their website...
after closer inspection, they are fiberglass. I want to add one on each side board to prevent grandkids from wriggling out the sides. SCSG-G4 posted the best source for them, and only one I now know of. (thank You) Im not a "original equipment type person" but the fiberglass will stay straight...
Ive ran out of places to look for the extruded aluminum rail boards that are on my deuce troop seats. they don't have to be the full length, as UPS likely will only ship 5-6 footers.
Please post pictures of the damaged transmission teardown when you get to it. It would be interesting to determine the cause, and the input shaft bearing condition in relation to pilot bearing wear.

you can buy a napa "remote starter switch" for about 15$. just clip one lead on the large cable coming from the battery and the other to the small wire. That way you don't run yourself over if its not in neutral, and you can observe/bleed the fuel lines and filters by yourself.
put in a momentary switch on the cross member so the shift rod will engage it in reverse for a large LED back up light.. I'll finish wiring it soon as Im changing over to LED tail lights. I already have them up front. Put the Mr gasket shift boots on. next week I'll paint the floor with bed...
