Looks like. Need to loose 3, maybe 4 inches to fit into the garage. It looks like the tires will do that, they are now 9 inches to the ground from the rim. So, if the insurance underwriter insists on a picture, I guess my wife gets the garage cleaned out!
I have searched and searched, read the TM, exhausted Google, and can't find an answer. About how much could I expect to lower the cab height of the top of a M35A2 hardtop by reducing tire pressure? I need to get it in my garage for at least one picture. I have 93" without removing the trim. I...
My "new to me" deuce arrived at my farm this weekend thanks to atankersdad. Getting tags this week so I get get on the road. One problem though, the smaller goats can stand up under the deuce. One more thing for the pre-drive checklist!
Lucy arrived at my house today courtesy of Dudley (atankersdad). I promise to take good care of her. I could not get insurance bound in time so I won't be on the road until early next week. Plenty to do in the mean time, like working out a center seat (she has two spring seats now) and I have...
When I look up the LAW in Maryland I find:

Yes more pics! College park is not far from me and my wife and daughter are at UMD. I get my deuce this weekend. Unless it is in need of a new radiator doesn't sound too bad. Do you have to transport it? Where on earth will you keep it in CP?
I started a year ago at 19-20 mpg, now it s 17-18. I attribute most of the change to the right button and foam ear plugs. I think I'll back it off10mph for the next week and see what happens. I have a 47 mile one way commute, 40+ of that on highways. M1009
What have you done to your CUCV today/lately?
Watts = current(amps) * voltage
Amps = watts/voltage
37.5 amps = 900 watts/ 24volts
75 amps = 900 watts/12 volts
But I agree, continuous duty or intermittent duty, it makes a difference.
Just read through this thread since I bought a DEUCE last weekend. It will get delivered to about 8 miles from my house a week from Saturday! I can't spell worth #$%&^ either! I spelled FUEL wrong in my high school driver's ed class - only question I even got wrong in that class. Reading the...
I am considering the 12', 5000# flat plate ramps from http://www.discountramps.com/truck-trailer-ramps.htm for $879. I want to be able to load my Bobcat Toolcat 5600 or my M1009 safely.
,KISS - check the fuses in the fuse block, all of them. Good time to take out each one and clean it up. tM 9-2320-289-20 Unit Maint Manual page 4-31 has the fuse block diagram. Check to make sure the correct amperage fuse is in each spot (mine were not and it caused some interesting failures)
