Just a quick thought on this and it would actually be very easy.
Here's a quick supply list I came up with:
aftermarket remote/keyless control box or R/C transmitter and receiver 12v
relays
12-14 gauge wire
electric half or quarter turn high torque electric servos, on off servos (cheapest...
My m813 did this with my black out lights but instead of the cab it was my brand new (to me) grote led tail lights that let out the mystic white smoke of death. There's a very good chance that the switch is now fried and hopefully only the switch. I've yet to diagnose my issue I'm sure it's just...
Your best option and cheapest option that won't put added stess to the driveline or engine would be to put the 14.00r20s on it and you will get it to 65-70 deffintly not recommended for sustained speeds. The tires are rated at 55 mph at their full load capacity which is far greater then the...
Your fuel priming issue is common replace all fuel filters there's one on the block and you may have one on your frame rail in the left front wheel well.
Then you can crack the fuel line that feeds the IP and start hand priming till you get fuel up to that line this is the long way.
I made...
I honestly think any Michelin tire is the best tire to run. I have the xzls on all my trucks except for my wrecker which will have the Goodyear g177s which is a 11.00r20 tire.
The michelins seem to get the best wear and miles on them and have a really nice smooth ride and don't really seem to...
My shift lever moves fine it moves freely.
The he poppet valve is what I'm calling the shuttle valve that I have rebuilt already and is working properly. I said that the sprag rod is moving from forward to reverse but I'm still stuck in forward 6 wheel drive but not reverse.
Well I'm not sure how tight it's wound it's not pinched if that's what your asking. I think it just might be a bit rusted up from not being used I'll hook to another truck and give it a tug once I figure out my wind and unwind lever.
Airlines were my first suspicious early on but I quickly eliminated that as an issue. The first problem was the shuttle valve it was not functioning so I fixed that and now the sprag is moving like it should or so it sounds but it is not acting like it should.
I have been been considering this...
Ok guys I've got a good one for your brains!
On my m813a1 I've been battling my front axle engagement for awhile now and I am about to give up.
I have rebuilt the shuttle valve, I have rebuilt the piston on the transfer case.
Everything seems to be working, with the truck fully aired up and...
So your saying the wind/unwind lever should move freely no matter what? I will see if I can get the valve to move manually Nd work on freeing the cable.
Where re could I get a pto output shaft seal though?
Ok so I serviced my m925a2 this weekend,
i rebuilt the air dryer
replaced the rubber fuel line from the tank hard line to the canister fuel filter that never got removed which I will be replacing with a fleet guard spin on filter.
changed the oil and filters
changed trans filter but not fluid...
Well firstly I will say that there are sticky posts at the top of the forum with filter numbers and the TMs to help with every question you just stated. But I will help you before you do something silly.
First question, oil filter : http://www.eriksmilitarysurplus.com/oilfiform815.html
second...
Do you loose air while the truck is running?
My buddys 819 and my 923a2 you can hear the air system bleeding down when the truck is shut off. I think this is a normal thing.
As as long as it's not leaking while the truck is running I think your in good shape.
Welcome to the forum! This is great place to be as long as you read the rules and read the TMs.
And welcome fellow Ohioan, I am in the lima area if you ever need help
