I'm gonna go but I'll probably take the Marauder. Not sure I trust bringing the 10 ton that far when it leaks so bad. I'll probably get out of work around 4 in Worcester. I'm gonna start a new thread.
Usually it's about gallon.
And and and....there were excellent fireworks around 10. Better than any of the 4th fireworks around here.
and and and...there were burnout after the fire works.
and and and....more fireworks!!
Probably one of the best shows around.
It was an excellent show! Just AnonymousOne and I from the forums. There were 4 other MVs there and loooots of cars and trucks.
I've been trying to make it to Bass Pro but I haven't had a chance to fix the oil leak and I don't want to chance the distance. I hope to bring my Marauder to the...
The big car dealer Imperial Cars is having their annual cruise night this friday. Last year there was a deuce. I'm bringing the 10 ton this year since it's less than 5 minutes from my house. It's a big show, a lot of different vehicles and nice cars. Hope to see some SS there.
Imperial Cars...
I bought mine from a private seller a few years ago. The prices have about doubled since then. Makes me wish I still had mine. There's a guy in NY that sells trucks and he's got good prices. His trucks start at 4k I believe.
Curious as to what they are asking, especially for the spare engine.
I hope you win big! :-P
I'm kind of hesitant to find out myself. The oil pan is definitely BIG. Capacity is 35 quarts! Guess it's gonna cost about $100 to change just the oil .
Cooling system is 49 quarts and the...
No major updates really. I moved into a shop a few months ago but it turned out to be more of a bad thing rather than good. I'm looking for another place right now but not having much luck. The oil leak has gotten severe. It looses about a gallon driving across town...which is like 5 miles. One...
MA "special fuels" License:Here are the Legal Docs you need!
Finally found it again; special fuels license and tax documents/info. I kept searching for alternate fuel permit not "special." $25 annual fee for renewal and 21 cents per gallon road tax. Seems pretty reasonable to me. Have to file...
Pretty sure WVO is considered hazardous.
Also make sure the plastic barrels are compatible with petroleum. #2 plastic usually is. I like steel barrels. Plastic ones will get brittle from UV rays and crack.
IBC containers are great for oil storage since the have a big hole on top and a drain...
Hey Matt, where is that wrecker? I'd be interested in it depending on price if you don't want it.
I just found a bridge truck that is suppose to be in good shape but has brake issues. Thinking about it but it gas and I really don't like buying gas...
Why is that?
The only problem with the retaining bead is that it is also a pain to mount and demount tires.
The good thing about the DIY beadlocks is that you can weld them on and wheel you like plus you don't have the insert to deal with like hummer wheels.
There pretty much isn't a way to avoid vandalism except to get the vehicle out. I've had to leave my vehicles multiple times because the people I went out with either had failures or too small of a vehicle to get me out or it was before I had my winch. Sometimes you just have to learn first hand...
So what are your plans for it (them?)? Definitely would like to get one in the future. Anymore pics of the FPU? Interior would be nice for those who haven't seen then close up.
Rupperster and 79m819, those rules/laws/regulations are different from MA. In MA, I can pretty much chnage whatever I want as long as the title matches the VIN on the cab. I can take an F150 cab and put it on an F350 and it'd be registered with the F150's title as an F150. I can take a 5 ton cab...
What size winch are you putting on? Got any specs or a link to it?
1/4" plate is good for over a 12klb winch. I've been using mine fine for years on my F150, not a deuce but it has been stuck pretty well more than a few times.
