Yea, just wire them in series ( + in to one light, - out to the + of the other light, ground the - on the second light).
This is how I have the pyro and boost gauge lights on my deuce wired. I could have just swapped to 24v bulbs but the gauges came with 12v so I just wired them in series. The...
I guess you do make a point on a wrecker. I'm still of the opinion that on something that doesn't use stationary t-case pto work, the interlock is still useless.
I disable the t-case shifter interlock on every M939 truck I get. It solves a bunch of shifting problems on these trucks. To find out if this is the problem, drain all the air tanks and see if the t-case will shift. If it does, the interlock is causing problems.
To disable the interlock, look...
It's my understanding that the original style Jerry cans have been outlawed to manufacture by the federal government (it doesn't pass current fuel can regs).
There are plenty of good used ones around.
It's up to the members to manage their PM box. They could also put a email address in their add and a lot of members have their email in their profile.
My biggest pet peeve is people don't use the feedback system. Most of the comments in adds about how great the part they got is could just as...
I'd get a 5 ton for the containers.
Try Johnson bar. It's a lever that mounts on the steering column that applies the trailer brakes independent of the truck brakes.
Sounds like typical Broker/dispatcher BS. I would guess to say most (if not all) the excuses was a lie. I've heard it all in the past. More than likely, they promised the load before they actually found a truck to take it. When they can't find a trucker for the load they come up with all kinds...
I had a pic on my old computer (that took a dump) of what I did on my Dodge 2500.
Basically what I did is got a receiver tube from tractor supply, welded some brackets on it, and mounted it to the top of the bumper (using existing bumper holes). Only down side is in somewhat obscures the lic...
We may post suggestions from time to time but I have no plans for a monthly news thread. I don't know if the other classified mods want to do one or not.
We've had a bunch of people breaking the 7 day bump rule lately. If you add a post to the thread such as "thanks for the purchase", "PM sent", etc, it is considered a bump. Direct response to a question posted is ok.
We've been mostly just deleting the bumps but we're going to start handing out...
That must be why I'm having charging problems with my 003. The guy I bought it from said he never put batteries on it, he just slaved it off his deuce. I figure it would be ok as long as you left the slave connected but I'm betting he disconnected it after it was running.
