HIPAA, I have a M931a2 insured through Farm Bureau here in Texas. They were alittle confused with the non 17 character VIN. I took pictures of the data plate in the vehicle and gave it to them and they have it insured.

I looked on the GP website and didn't see anything about previewing items for auction, so I'm assuming they won't let you preview anything since they do a decent preview. Is this correct?

Ok, the mechanical pump is leaking terribly, that's why I was just going to see if I could leave it on there. I have tried to install one of these before and it was such a pain, I never could get it in there right, so I guess I will get the plate for one

Cant you just bypass the mechanical fuel pump all together by running the fuel directly to the fuel filter from an electric pump and leave the old mechanical pump on the motor?

Well got the starter back from the shop today, put it on and s**t, it still doesn't work. I guess I'm going to have to find a working starter to buy , as the gremlins in this one got it good. If anyone has a WORKING starter, please let me know. Starter repair guy said he would refund my money...

R Racing, don't think its the switch because I have another starter that I can put in this generator and it works fine,,, Ray70, that is correct on the bench test and yes on the old style starter. I guess im taking it back and gonna have the guy open it up again and look inside the starter again...

Problem is not with the speed of cranking, is getting it to stop cranking, I just cant understand why it works on the bench but not in the machine, either machine for that matter

Ok, back to the starter. I had a new 24 volt solenoid put on the original starter and it was bench tested at the starter repair shop. It worked fine, put the starter back in the perfectly running generator and tried to start it. SAME problem, It continues to turn over when I let off the start...
