I'll have to dig to find the vendor, but I just ordered them through the internet. I believe they were about $125/pr. You can also get them on ebay. Mine were 2", 8x6.5 bolt pattern with 9/16" studs. There are some cheaper ones with metric studs.
Re: RE: 37" Hummer Tires & Wheels on M1008
Sorry, but I don't have any pics from that angle. Which holes are you referring to? The adapters are bolted on using the existing lugs and then the tire is bolted to the lugs of the adapter.
Kenny, you get an A+, as usual. I thought without a scale referernce the first guess would be Dana 60 and 2.5 ton. But these are 2.5 ton and 5 ton lockers, showing a fairly substantial difference.
Yes, the ground supports would work but I had to go almost to full tilt to get the main lift cylinder out. We used pins as a safety. You can barely see one in the picture.
I made the swap over the Hummer radials and 12-bolt wheels this weekend. I elected to keep the wheels stock (not recenter) and used 2" spacers on the hubs to counter the extreme backspacing. A little fender trim with the plasma and I was good to go! The tires help out greatly on the gearing...
I have been interested in adding some lockers for quite some time. Now that I have the lockers, a little work is in store. Can you guess what application these two lockers are for?
Now I know why a man needs two wreckers. The main hydraulic cylinder was leaking on the M819. The M816 was used to raise the boom so the cylinder could be removed and repaired. These wreckers are handy!
RE: Recent topic
I understand that. I am only trying to go back one page and pick a new topic to review. When I go back, I get the Recently Discussed Topics from 3/5 or 3/6 not today. Something seems "Stuck" on that day. Any ideas?
RE: Re: RE: Using the Recent Topic List
Does that mean CTRL-F5? I tried CTRL-F5 and still get the stagnant data when I return. I started experiencing this on both home and office computers about a week ago. Could it be something related to a virus protection program? I've got Norton at work...
