Is it a gasser? I did not know the deuces came with gas engines. If so what engine is in it? Hopefully not the big beast in my M52. I am hoping to come by an affordable M818 that can really haul the loaded M127. I would think twice about another gasser in my fleet.
I think the duece brakes are fine as is. I can stop any of the trailers I own with the truck even when both the truck and trailer are loaded. Anyone who does a lot of mud and does not do a good wash down soon after is asking for trouble.
I like the idea of disc brakes on a light truck or...
Great to have you aboard!
My wife has worn Camo for many years but then she is a retired Army Nurse. I have had to explain our military vehicle purchaces to her and thankfully she has not complained too much. She is after all licenced to drive an M548 ambulance varient from the days of her...
That truck looks great!
I bid on mine sight unseen but the GL pictures back then used to show the tachometer showing RPM's Mine did and that convinced me to drive it home. The good thing is you all are getting dueces for the same price or less that I got mine for a long time ago and back then...
If you don't mind technology I recommend using seat covers from Marathon in Montana

I have them in our M1009 and in my Suburban. The ones in my Suburban are 7 years old and they are in great shape tough as nails and custom made
My Step came off of a truck at TNJ Murry as I bought as many things as I could use when I went up last year for a PTO and shaft for the M52. It is like Candyland there and the guys are right as rain about prices and what you can get from them. I like the way they fold up and lock into that...
I built a mock up in plywood on one of our deuces when I was a lieutenant. It had sloping sides, gun loops and a protected turret for the M2 gunner made from the ring mount and a steel support bolted to the deck. It was really cool looking and too bad that was before digital pictures but it...
What model did you get I see they have a variety based on oil capacity of the engine? It looks like the duece would need at least a model 24 or larger. Is that price shipped to a stateside zip code and what do replacement filters cost? I have been looking at old truck junk yards for a...
Thanks for posting the link and even more for driving in the parade. Folks need to remember the fighting we have had in the past and what will come to keep our freedom.
Are Those Camo uniforms USMC varient? it is hard to tell they almost look like the ACU's I have on right now.
It really upset me because I had a confirmed bid on it and I got nothing from them in return after the confirmed bid email. So much for entering into a contract. My email stated that since I had a bid confirmation and no other outbid or withdrawn email from them I expected to be awarded the...
Here is their reply that finally arrived about this.
Dear Customer:
Thank you for your email. If a lot was previously listed on the www.govliquidation.com website, but is no longer there, than the lot was removed from that particular event. Some common reasons for removing lots from an event...
RE: your wish is my command
Unless you are getting transfered to a LORAN station in Bermuda, keep two and do a Diti move. I have moved many times in the Army and all but the first I have done myself and the Army paid me to move my family. Get the trucks weighed and then load them up and drive...
Nick:
Great haul and nice pictures. I use similar ramps all the time the only problem with wood is that it bends so much I have had the lower boards pull apart from the main ramp. I was loading a truck and it weighed more than the trailer but it pulled it apart even with glue and 3 1/2 inch...
It is funny I saw an M1009 painted white that was on the sale I won our M1009. I found some other trailers and I am bidding on two in Aberdeen and one in Mechanicsburg hoping to get one out of the three. I saw one lube trailer like the one I got for 408.00 going for over 2K wow.
Anyone else...
Wierd things happen in the world of GL I bid on a single axle semi van in Chambersburg and got a bid confirmation email. Went online this morning expecting an out bid or winning email and nothing. Log on and the trailer is gone. Anyone see this trailer headed out the door?
