If the bearings are torqued to spec and you have too much free play, I'd take a look at the spindle to be sure that there are no burs that the bearing surface may catch on, do the same to the inside of the hub.
That inner nut for the bearings should be at nowhere near 100ft/lbs. you wil kill a...
You dont need to open up the case to change the rear seal.
Yes the parts guy was right, use only ATF for that transfer case.
As for the bushings ask for the parts from a 1984 K5 Blazer with the 6.2L (the suspension parts are the same as civilian ones)
Dont do it, LOUD AS HELL!!!!!!!
It will sound like a dragster when you step on it, lopey idle and all. Seriously you need some kind of muffler on these trucks, or a turbo (acts like a muffler)

I'm picking up my deuce from Westech's house those days. If everything goes to plan, I will be driving it down to haspin with my buddy's m1009 in tow. I'm not for sure yet, depends on how everything is when we get going.

Re: RE: Bad Alternator
Its a common thing with the cucv's, because its rare to have the two alternators have the exact same turn on points. Mine has done that since day one.
on the note about the spades beinge different sizes, why buy plugs that you will have to modify or modify your harness, when you dont have to? The wellman plugs arent much more expensive if at all than the gm glow plugs.
