you need to get the whole base. The fuel sensor is a NON replacale part now days. Check Ebay for CUCV fUEL filter and go from there. The base is about 55 bucks.
:ditto: Done that to a couple CUCV's. To install a 12V starter just move the main power wire to the starter off the firewall junction block and move it to the first battery. You can leave the rest of it alone, or bypass the relay. Me myself and I would do the "Doghead relay swap" and just move...
I use 1.5 gallons on a M1009 and 1 gallon on my M151. On my deuce I used 2 gallons cut 50% and it looked good but really was a little thin. For a 6x6 sized truck I would really get 4 gallons and only cut it 25% when spraying. Now I did NOT paint the inside of the box so add more if you want to...
the M10 looks to be like the M332. Now its one heavy bithc. Over 3k pounds. Now if your towing it with a 09 TAKE HER SLOW! that is way too much unbraked weight for a little 09 to stop. If you jack the brakes that trailer is going to pass you and its all over.
BULL on the SF97.... I had one in another persons name and I walked in the DMV and walked out with a title. All I had was a bill of sale and the 97. AND I am in Wisconsin.
that is why I change all my locks and ignition key when I get a new CUCV. For around 25 bucks no one can just pop in a key and go.... I remember doing that to a couple of CUCV's at rally's over the years.
If you think your cucv wont start at -40 its your own fault. A 6.2 with good glow plugs and the fuel system in proper working order that truck will start! If you are very worried about it install a cold climate fuel burning heater system. The military unit heats the engine, coolant and even the...
you guys know that most deuces/5 tons are late 60's early 70 production right? I bet you take any auto from that time and drive it your going to have problems if the brake system has not been rebuilt.
Look brakes are brakes. Just because you have air does not mean you can stop any faster then...
I have a set off a 6.2 hummer (same lines as cucv) for $50 bucks. You DO NOT want to over tighten them. I use a wrench and only snug. You do not have to reef on them at all, just snug. If you over tighten them you will squish the flange and it will never seal again. If you have that much to get...
