what procomp tires are you going with?
once the new tires are on you will notice a huge difference in the wobble. also replace the steering stabilizer (if you havent already)

also put a chain along the back from side to side on the top of the side racks. enforce a no standing rule and you'll be good. and just dont drop the clutch. :)
ok, you'll have enough in the slip joint of the front axle to get it home with np, just have a shortened shaft made up soon so you dont bottom it out and crack the case.
the rear has way more than enough slip in it. you should be fine there.
mike, one of these days, we need to write up a checklist for these issues, including pics of the areas in question and post it on the site. I'll be happy to do it, but we will need pics of unmolested trucks since i just us a manual switch and the changes under my hood would throw some people off.
just be sure to put the diesel governor in the trans, otherwise it will do funky things (well i'm not sure with a full manual valvebody, but i wouldnt want to have to drive that around much, they shift HARD.)

if that relay works, you will hear the click from inside the truck, its very pronounced.
you can also try bypassing the temp sender that might be the issue. next time the truck doesnt want to start, take a short jumper wire and jump the two wires that attach to the screw-in plug near the front...

FYI, if you have one rebuild, PLEASE ask around the local 4x4 shops for a builder that has a good reputation for things lasting and working right. its not a hard trans to rebuild, but there are certain modifications that must be done for it to handle the diesel and towing...
the only other way would be to buy something like the "red dot" 24v system that they run on skidsters and the new variant of the hmmwv.
you would have to mount it on the roof of the blazer, and prolly and some reinforcements due to the wieght, but it could be done. other than electric hookup it...

that sender was for the glow plug system, to tell if the engine was warm enough not to need to be glowed, will just always glow without it.
havent done road testing yet, need a custom pipe for the crossover exhaust bent up and getting the truck to the shop means i've had to...
