well first of all you have this in the deuce 2.5 ton area....
but yes I have lockers in my 5 ton and they work great. But you can still get stuck with 11:00 tires
yeah dont use a little S10 to tow a CUCV.. First of all you wont be able to stop with that big of a truck pushing that little S10. Your going to want at least a 1/2 ton or some sort. Just rent a U-Haul truck for 20 bucks a day.
I am going to change the filter to a spin on type in my 813 also looking in to a air remover pump that the Diesel guys use.. just trying to find a cheaper one rather then spend 300 bucks
I have to rewire my M211... Im just going to do it myself. Im leaving out the black out lights, that will cut about 50% of the wires out. Really its not much to do at all.
My mechanic disconnected a wire from the regulator(?)...there is your problem. You sure he or she knows how to work on a cucv? I bet they messed it up.
The federal government calls it "big rigging" and will land you in jail or at least a fine if they see fit. We here at SS are super high profile and don't even want to squeak open the door on that. Its just not worth it. If you want to ask a question about something that is or will be up for bid...
