While I realize what it takes to run and manage a website like this (I helped another site grow since 1999...about the size of SS), I don't fully agree with paying for Classifieds.
Most people on here don't abuse the system. They don't buy vehicles for the sole purpose of coming on here and...
I saw this on another forum, and read it as a M1009, and was going to offer to store it for you here in Roanoke. But I have no way of getting a M109. I can store it in Roanoke if you want to get it here (although Im sure there are other members closer to Winchester)...
Ya'll got that right! I was biddin on this one:
7110 - Office Furniture at Government Liquidation
However, $1090 for (2) 3'x3'x1" plates and (1) 3'x3'x2" plate is outrageous! I just want a piece of frickin steel to make a welding table
Thanks for the good news. I hope to do business with them in the future if they are that good to work with...
I was outbid this morning, so it looks like I will not be getting the items. I bid $200 more than I wanted to 2 days ago, and it just jumped another $200 more this morning. Dang aua
I've never worked with GL before, so this is all new to me...
But I am currently the high bidder on an event (it is not vehicle related). There are a few pieces of pipe/tube that are a bit long, and the pictures don't give a good definition of length. If I can, I will be bringing a 16' car...
I'd love to have one of these!
With fork slots, I'd fill the thing with concrete and just load a couple of them up when it calls for snow! My truck sucks in the snow empty!
But seriously...I wouldn't really fill one of these things with concrete...but I would love to have one for...
The only reason I'm selling mine is because I'm trying to pay off my DD as soon as I can so I can get my first house before the housing market rebounds...
In the nearly 2-years that I've owned it, all my M35 has cost me was an oil change and some gear lube...
I just dropped a 466ci BBF into my F150 and threw an exhaust on it the other weekend...so I might offer some use to ya. I ordered a set of Goerlich VR7426 single chamber race mufflers from performance-curve and welded them on with some turn-outs.
Performance-Curve items - Get great deals on...
No kiddin! There's lots that I want from you...but distance is the only thing stopping me (and, well that paper stuff with dead presidents on it)
Mine might be for sale again. I bought it for $2700 early last year, and sold it for $2800 in May of last year. Bought it back for the same price May of this year. Someone I know said his friend might be interested in it. I said $5k cash and he can have it. Dude was pretty serious about it...
I wonder who's windshield that nut went through? :driver:
Good tip on marking the lug nuts. I made it a point to mark the wheel spacers I put on a Toyota of mine (I hate wheel spacers!)
Good tip, however I cannot sleep on an incline. I've tried many, many times while sleeping in the cab of my truck, back of a van, tent, camper, etc...
The only reason I'm taking a tent is because I do not have a canvas top... :x The bed does have sufficient drain holes front corners and...
I'll give you $2k for it! :-P Seriously, it is a nice truck, and worth every bit of 4000-4500.
I paid $2700 for mine. No winch, soft top, one small rust spot and broken windshields.
I probably shouldn't have said "leak." More like seep. There is usually just one drop hanging on the bottom of the A/C. Everything under the A/C is dry. Thanks for clearing that up.
I have plenty of tools to take. I was just wondering if there were any special, specific, tools I need.
I've...
Getting ready to go camping in a few weeks and I'm taking the Deuce. I think a small tent with an air matress in the rear will do just fine! This will be the first time taking her farther than 15 miles from home (about an hour's drive one way in a normal vehicle). I've owned my Deuce (off and...
