that area really pools the water from the hill... this week we are supposed to have more rain. I'll get a rake and smooth it all out see what happens after that.
I need to brace my tripod better... this was a totally unplanned thing actually... I got out of work really early and just said hey do it.
Yeah, the deuce is alot of fun in the mud.
I used to live in Louisville with this truck. But since I've graduated from U of L , I'm back in New York... Yeah, I'll keep the videos coming. I originally did this at a much higer bit rate but it just didn't want to upload for anything! I think it is the connection.
The next one will be...
So I seem to have a dream of using pick, shovel, mule, brute force and anything and everything to retrieve my baby, because I just cannot stop getting in mud. I just love the challenge of seeing if I can defeat nature! Today I won. Tomorrow I might not...
Exhaust Stack Diameter 5 inches will be with a Turbo and it will be visibly larger in diameter in decent photo non-turbo's about 3inches and will be smaller when compared. That is the easiest way to do so if you cannot see one in a photo.
I've got video even more Mud... Now all I need is my Firewire cable for mac and wireless internet connection... I'll have it up... I was four inches away from having the front bumper flush with mud and the Duke made it out unscathed.
I only can burrow a 75hp tractor... But I figure with the right amount of timber and the M35 helping to move it's own weight the 75hp should be able to do the trick. Provide that I don't get the M35 so bogged down that I cannot use it to help itself out.
Well, I was being facious really about the usefullness of a shovel in that sort of mud. I really not sure how I would get it out if I got it completely stuck. I think I will eventually find out however. I just hope I can dig, claw and pull myself out with a Tractor if need be! I really wish I...
I sure wished I had a winch on it, when I started to see the ruts I was making, because I thought I was in trouble for a while. It took me like 30mintues to extricate the truck from the entry point and finally out in the clear. But it was fun!
Yeah, I've got a power-washers in various sizes and pressures. My Pops' own's a company that does commerical cleaning of Restruant equipment. So I've got the tools for the clean up. In fact since I'm not going to graduate school until next August I'm the resident indentured Servant of the...
Plan A, B, and C were all the same "C'mon baby don't get stuck on me now or you'll be here for a month!" So no there was no plan B, I didn't really think it was going to be that soft where I was driving. I thought you know I might sink in 2-4inches no big deal not, 8-20 inches. I mean the mud...
Yes, it is easy to get anything stuck. The mud, I didn't plan on it. I thought it would be smooth sailing and than I couldn't turn the wheels. I was already in 6 wheel drive so I was a bit concerned by that fact. I look down out of the window and I had mud up to my running board.
I was driving the "Duke" around the woods by my folks place in New York State, and well I ran into a little bit of a soft area. But I pushed the "Duke" hard and made it through the mud.
The ruts are range from 8inches deep to about 20-24inches deep in the deepest sections. I was impressed that...
