Yes you press out the old ring and press the new end in. May put it in the freezer for some time and it should press in easier.

I would get the new ends and press them in.

On the A2's there is one mounting bolt inside the pto.

I do know there is one mounting bolt inside the PTO you have to take lose to get it off. I have not removed one from the trans on the truck, looks like it will be a bear!!!!

I think they got it under control at about 12 acres. It was next to the place were the first fire was.

Sorry for your problem. Sounds like it maybe the transfer case. Towing it with the drive shaft hooked up to the axles may of did it in. I think I remember seeing something about when towing not to get over 35mph. The transfer case has a oil pump in it and when in neutral it may not pump the oil...

I too have just started my AC install on my M923A1. I got the batteries moved to the side so far. Look forward to your post. Do you have someone lined out to charge it and check for leaks? I need to find someone that can help with that.

I have a friend with a M923A2 and he had some ramps made for loading his jeep in the back. They are as long as the bed (14').
