Swap meet spaces would help defer the cost of the park rental. If you're looking for a zero sum ending, plan on the swap meet fees and if it doesn't cover it then hit everyone up for whatever percentage they would owe so you break even.
And probably mid-late spring.
It does seem to be in an odd place. When I think of Resources I think of exactly the first 3 and not really of Classifieds. I know there isn't an immediate other location that would fit better so maybe just one of it's own in the banner? Just a thought not a complaint. I love the site just...
Maybe a dumb question but could they have been disassembled, shipped to the US as parts, and then reassembled? Title issue would still be an issue but parts would be worth the 15k
I've gotten 6 deuces from Ft Sam and all but one drove home with no problems.
Back in the mid-80s when we were turning in 151's it would take about 35 to get 30 that would pass inspection to turn in. We had to cannabilize all the others for parts. We worked a good 4 months to do that only to...
It had more miles than the factory test would have put on it. Just seems kind of funny that a unit would get it on their books and then put less than 5 miles on it. Whether or not it is seized is just idle speculation. For the buyer's sake I certainly hope we're wrong.
The parts bikes at Ft Sam sold about a month ago. The one in the crate was discussed at our MVPA meeting last night and the consensus seemed to be that it might have been run out of the box with no fluids (the way they are shipped) and seized the engine. While I'm sure a replacement motor...
If you live in San Antonio you need to join the Alamo MVPA. We've got 3 deuces in the club now but we can always use another. And if you need help on anything local let me know. I'm usually at Ft Sam 1 week or so.
I believe it's up to the local manager. There is a vehicle at Ft Sam that has sold at least 3 times but never picked up. They're finally selling it as scrap versus an EUC item.
Well I'm just hoping everything is still there when I finally get it. I'll be sure to take a lot more in depth photos when it's here.
First order of business (other than making sure it's running good) is to paint it back the 3 color camo. I like consistency in my fleet:-D
Thanks that did help a lot.
After looking at that I might have the jump seat after all. One that I had seen elsewhere looked like a full size seat that sat in the middle of the aisle. The TM shows a fold up seat. Since everything else is there (for the time being) there's a good chance it...
I stole an M35A2 W/W at a GL auction because it had 56k miles on it ($1495). My opinion is 1) gauge has been switched or 2) it was the favorite truck in the motorpool and everyone wanted to drive it. This truck had new paint, new undercoating, electric wipers, and it doesn't hesitate to bury...
:ditto::ditto::ditto::ditto::ditto::ditto::ditto:
Ditto. I just won a new at Hooks and the tongue is on the ground so I'm guessing the landing gear is trashed.
