If I leave it on flat ground over night it lights with just a bump of the starter, but if it's just slightly nose up, it takes forever to reprime. Can't see any visible leaks in the fuel lines. Anybody else run into something similar?
Howdy all,
Searched several threads on the exact fluid capacity of the allison trans and got some great info, but no one ever listed the actual capacity or the amount they used to fill it back up after a drain. Any ideas?
I have a MEP-016E that turns over and won't start. The electric fuel pump and the solenoid that controls the throttle will only work very intermittently. Since the machine was converter to the yanmar engine, it doesn't appear to have worked because the oil in it is golden clear like it was...
Howdy boys,
I just acquired a MEP-016b with a brand new dead battery so I'm in "no start" mode. Until I can secure a new battery, can I crank it with the pull start? Making a few attemps it seems that not having the electric fuel pumps running will be a problem. Any suggestions/ideas appreciated.
I need the box looking antenna mount spacer and the scoop looking mount. If you have one or you know where to find one please tell me. I check with Saturn and Memphis... nothing.(drats and double drats)
My door glass windows are loose in the channels. Glass and frames are fine they just rattle when down and pull out at the top when rolled up. Ironhorsethegeneral was telling me there is a kit to fix that. Anybody know what I need and where to find it?
I recently turbo'ed my truck. I rolled the timing back during the swap and installed a pyrometer. Since being able to monitor the EGT if I get under a load or floor it the temp reading on the pyrometer will go up past 1200. I have to throttle way back to keep it below 1150 when climbing a hill...
Anybody ever seen this phrase in a govliquidation description? I wonder if some new guy just defaulted on the description page. If not, I wonder what they got exposed too? Maybe you don't need headlights to drive at night.

I've got the turbo hung and I'm trying to remove the oil gallery plug in the side of the engine block for the oil supply line. The thing won't budge and I've rounded of the square fitting. I'm planning on heating it up tomorrow and then trying to remove it with a pipe wrench. If that fails, I...
I'm in the middle of a turbo install and I'm trying to remove the oil gallery plug. It won't budge and I have rounded the edges trying to remove it. Any suggestions?? Tomorrow I'm going to try to heat the plug and then try to move it with a pipe wrench. If that won't work I guess I'll have to...
Well, after much debate I rattle canned the Deuce. And what better to do right after that? That's right, straight to a car show. We had a weekend airshow/car show in Rome Ga. It was a lot of fun and everybody has a story about their "Deuce" experience. It really is a piece of living history.
I...
Well boys, I had brake lights then, after picking up a M105 and checking its lights I noticed I don't have brake lights or rear turnsignals on the deuce.!? The front lights work with signals, the green light on the signal switch flashes but I got nothing on the rear. I checked the bulbs and took...
I've been converting a car hauler to be able to towed by the deuce. I bought a lunette hitch from Northern Tools but it is just slightly smaller than the pintle on the deuce. Anybody know where I can obtain the correct size for it?
Anybody have any experience with putting troop seats in a M36 or know what it will take? I haven't measured anything yet so I don't know if you could use seats from a M35 or not.
I am fitting my car hauler trailer with a pintle hitch so I can tow my jeep with the deuce. I heard somewhere that you could use LED lights and they would operate with both 12 and 24 volts. Can anybody confirm or deny? This would allow me to use it with my pick up and the deuce if possible.
