Daily Driver? YES I AM! I'm a ranch foreman in southern Colorado. I use my 109 as a mobile shop on the ranch. It's 10 miles to work and 10 home. The deuce has been great! This winter was a stinker. The wipers suck when it 's snowing hard. Had to get out about every 5 miles to scrape the... -
Not another M109 camper conversion
FYI, in the bottom pic, the right side lower terminal is the power feed for the rear exhaust fan. It tests as a ground but if you try to ground to it the fan will run. It only tests as a ground if the fan is plugged in. I found that out when I keyed up my ham radio and the fan started....- TigerHawk

I installed a 6oo watt 3/4 treaded block heater last week and it works well down to about -5. When it was -10 I had to use the manifold heater. What ever you do DON'T TRY THE CATS TANK HEATER! You will burn up the element. They don't tell you in the directions but, if your hoses are longer...- TigerHawk

asbestos danger?
The top on my M35A2 has some kind of nasty looking insulation on the top and I was wondering if this was asbestos? Around the sides of the cab is closed cell foam insulation but the stuff on the inside of the top is different! Any thoughts?:?: -
Rod bearings, failure mode
There are many of these motors still in crates you can get for a 10th of the price you can rebuild it for... Just a thought! -
