I hear ya.
Aleast I took it on one last big camping trip at Kisatchie forest before I got rid of it. I was getting second thoughts then someone showed up with some cash so it had to go.
Ill try to catch up with you when I get back also I'm leaving again soon
Sounds like your talking about the Mep002. My 002 works as it should.
Im talking about the MEP-016D
Instead of trouble shooting it while running I was bench testing it with 2-12v batts. 24v.
When I connect the battery leads to the pump ground to ground the Pos to the pump it turns on...
Well I guess I give up on my transfer pump. The pump still works with 24v directly from batterys.
Now When hooked up through the float switch from the batteries I get 24v going through it to the pump but the pump doesnt come on. I even move the float up and down and its not changing voltage...
I had one from (DB Electric 24 GR) on my old truck it worked ok. I now have a spare original direct drive. I like using the local "Electro-Mechanical shop" for starters and alternators. Get a quote for a rebuild and go from there.
I have a manual set up and AC-60s. I used to hold the button for 10-15 seconds it worked Ok.
After of few months of that I overhauled my entire GP system and brought it back to stock and left the push button as a back up. I like it alot better. My truck never started better and you dont...
You talking about the "Latest Thread Activity stream"??
Theres a arrrow by the GL ad by sponser you can click on But it keeps popping up from time to time.
Thanks for all the hardwork who made this happen!!
I like alot of the new upgrades but some take some time to get use to. Reading through this thread tought me alot already. Im not a big fan of the live stream on the left side but just found the arrow to hide it.
I would cut those swimming pool noodles and put them on the edge of the canoe to protect the blazer then ratchet strap it to the front and rear shackles.
Or you can build and buy those canoe reciever hitch holders ( goal post) and you could even fab one up in the front and have it lifted...
There on a board connected to back of the gauge. There were clearly broken leads on the resistors but did not fix my problem.
Open the cover and take a look at what you see or just buy a new gauge like the TM suggest. I just searched and found the gauge for $20 NSN#6625-00-065-5258.
My 016D is doing the opposite. When I put a 1.2kw load it the gauge reads around 90% if I put more load on it it really does'nt move to much more.
Mine had 4- resistors in the back of the gauge and 2-were broken. I went to radio shack and replaced them with the proper resistance. It seemed...
I used Rapco 383 rattle cans for my Oh-9. I bought a mixed case of 12. 6-green, 4-brown and 2-black and then bought a few extra cans of flat black from the store. It was plenty to do my truck and still had a little left to do other things like Generator and M101 trailer.
I like the outcome...
I ran Seafoam through my 6.2 last oil change. I put the recommended dosage in and let it run for 30 min in the drive way and then changed the oil whie it was still warm. Not really sure of the results.
If your keeping it all stock for now with stock rims I would go with 33x10.5x15 not 12.5".
If you get rubbing it should not be bad and you can do light modification and can do a decent lift down the road.
Im running 33x12.5x15 on a 10.5" wide Aluminium rim with 2.5" lift.
MPG i dont check...
