I used some 25 year old alkyd enamel to camo a pickup, it was old milsurp paint, worked like a charm and wore like iron. Most of the old enamels will work fine if they were properly sealed up. I would use it to paint the frame, and undercarriage, and get new paint for the topside.
Glad someone is making wrenches
Comdiver
Glad you are making wrenches, I still get the occasional PM asking about them.
I am in Tulsa right now, programming robots. I do not plan on making wrenches any more, please see Comdiver for said tools!!
And guys, Comdiver is not getting rich making...
Several years ago Maccus and I both saw an M34A2 go through GL somewhere out West. It was an original Studebaker, and looked like it had been the motor pool Sgt.s toy. It had a turbo multifuel, the original single wheels, radials I think, and a hardtop if I remember correctly. It was really...
The winch mounted lever is strictly to freespool the winch and pay out cable, with the PTO disengaged. The operator runs the winch from the cab, using the clutch to apply or remove power, and the PTO lever for forward and reverse. Yes, I have a winch, and have used them for years. Winches can be...
Use an air operated pump if you can. I have one you can use if you don't mind shipping it back to me later. You can run it with air pressure from the deuce.
Politics should not be discussed in polite company. Religion is almost as divisive. I would suggest we discuss nothing more controversial than your favorite brand of beer!

I checked my PM's for the first time in several months.....
Several membera are asking about the compressor wrenches I was selling at one time. I sold my last ones a year ago, and do not plan on making any more. Somewhere on the site (it is a lot different than I remember) there is a .pdf...

A link that was sent to me by a good friend, a retired Army tanker who saw combat in Viet Nam. This is a Russian website I believe, showing the recent Russian/Georgian combat. There are some pretty graphic pics, so keep the kids away from this. Pics 75-80 I believe show a deuce and a half...
Here is a .pdf of the wrench. Print it exact size and cut it out. If you need the .dwg or .dxf for a CNC machine, PM me and I'll get it to you. Originals were 3/16" mild steel.
RE: GSA Item
On-line auctions are that way. There are people that will bid on 25 or 30 items, only needing (and planning on buying) 1 of the items. I had a person try to default on an E-Bay purchase of some golf cart tires because he decided he wanted taller than stock sizes. This is after he...
Re: RE: Air compressor wrench
I sold all mine and don't plan on making any more.
If you want the AutoCAD file so you can have one lasered, or just make your own, send me a PM. I can't attach a .dwg or .dxf file, filetype is not allowed.
Hmm....
May have to talk to mangus about that!
You should be able to turn down a rim and get the desired bead flange for a motorcycle tire. Of course, finding someone with a 20" swing lathe can be problematical........
Good thing I have access to one for my wheel widening project!
RE: Re: RE: Not an MV but my "While deployed V
Last I heard, the most made in America vehicle was the Toyota Tundra. I believe everything but the powerpack was US made, and the tranny might have been made in the US too.
Honda has a big transaxle plant here in Ga, and a big assembly plant in...
I used a 10 gallon bowl centrifuge for years getting paint sludge out of the recirc water in paint booths. Binks makes a nice one, so does US centrifuge. These have a sprayer that directs the water into the spinning bowl (4500rpm). The sediment goes to the outside of the bowl, the clean water...
Re: RE: Local guy with a MUTT for sale on Craig
Umm...
WW2 would have been a CCKW or one of the other variants of that time. M35 series started up in the very early '50's.
Nice MUTTs!
RE: Radial Tire Options
12.50R20 will fit in a dual application, and are the same height as 900's. 14.50 R20 will run as singles, and are the same height as 1100's. 1200R20 would be taller than 1100's, which are taller than 900's, so I don't think they are what you want. The good thing is...
