    Help identify this trailer

Thanks for the input I think we have it narrowed down to those two. I inspected prior to purchase and most rust was surface, it seemed to be in decent shape. I payed a few hundred bucks which I thought was reasonable. I plan on cleaning it up and spraying it tan to match my generator. Even...

    Help identify this trailer

Picked this trailer up at a county auction, they stated it had a generator mounted on it. I plan on mounting my MEP 831A on it. Does anyone have any idea what model it may be, of course there are no tags on it and it appears to have been cut on and modified. Thanks,

    MEP 831 Recovery and progress

Hitched up the M101A3 and made a quick trip over to Ft. Bragg and recovered my 3kw today. It has 353 total hours and went to West Virginia National Guard Reset in 2010 with 233 hours on the clock, so only 20 hours in the past 5 years since reset. Got it to the farm and opened it up and loh and...

Trailer title, tags, and taxes in North Carolina in about 15 minutes!

Just wanted to post up here about a good experience I had with the NC DMV. I know good experience and the NC DMV are an oxymoron but anyway here is my success story, hopefully it may help clear some confusion for fellow members looking to title and tag trailers in NC. I have a m101A3 I bought...

Picked up an extended 101 styled trailer? looking for info

With DHS as the manufacturer I can only assume this is a early or prototype model trailer to carry a tent system. You will commonly hear them referred to as DRASH tents. They have evolved into various configurations, in my experience we used them as command post/tactical operations centers at...

    Which FMTV is this?

Not really...you will even see tan trucks with green canvas on them. Derrick got this one and I will add that the HIMARS variant has a armored cab. I have seen this variant and some other interesting variants down at Bragg before...especially over around the ADA and commo unit motorpools.

    M101A2 Lights for Dummies

I unplugged the military harness and used bullets for my six pin civilian plug. The wires have little metal tabs with the number that correspond. It is too easy, shouldn't cost you more than some wire and your plug. Don't buy any lights unless you want to spend the money, just put in 12v...

Anyone ever recovery M101A3s with a 26' Box Truck

If you take off all the rails, bows, tires etc Justin and his guys will stack them, I was up there last friday and a guy recovered two with a cucv. I would recommend the truck, trailer and a lot of tiedowns. Uhaul trucks are a bit cheaper and they will cut you a deal if you get the truck and...

Ok guys here it is. The recovery went well, I have installed 12volt bulbs and I fabricated a new wiring harness with a six prong plug. It pulls great behind my Tacoma.

NC to Maryland and back (First Recovery)

Recovery went well when my ride-along emails me the pics I will post them. Trailer was in great shape nothing more than minor surface rust if that, tires had good tread and just needed a little air. More to come with some pics.
