    M1009 Rear Window Question

Mine goes down all the way. Does your tailgate open and close? There is a linkage in the botton of the gate that makes it so you have to put the window all the way down before you can open the gate. I took mine out.

    Oil Leak

This might help, and it might not... Last year my 09 didnt leak a drop. I stored it during winter and recently got it back out. I changed the oil, and a few days later it started to leak out the back of the oil pan. So, I pulled the oil pan off, took the oil pump off and the rear main cap for...

    Radiater leak behind R Battery

Now I'm thinkin three studs around the heater box on the firewall, and one bolt from the inside. Then you can get to the heater core after you undo the clamps off the radiator hoses.

    Radiater leak behind R Battery

There is three or four studs sticking out of the firewall. If you dont have time to fix it right loop the heater hose and eliminate the heater core for now. Or like stated above it might just be a hose.

    M1009 rear axle

Hey guy, First off I'm not a moderator and I have no authority here on this site.. But you will get more info in the CUCV part of this site. Second as stated above the axle is not military issue, it is the same as a K5 blazer. Just my 2cents. Good luck with that.[thumbzup]

    CUCV longevity

They probly are getting replaced by the HMMWVs. Think of it this way, if you go to war what would you rather have a blazer with sheetmetal floors and thin glass or a HMMWV with reinforced floors for land mines and bullit proof glass to keep you from getting shot. I have not served in the...

    Help! Newbie here

I've installed a crome handle on my 09. I to painted it flat black before installing it. If your window goes up and down smoothly with no tight spots there is no problem with the manual handle. I had a broken handle when I bought mine, I took the whole thing apart oiled and greased what was...
